CTLCV Urgent Call: Thur. June 1st!

Show your support for CT’s Energy Efficiency Funds that help protect our environment from climate change!

Join us TOMORROW at the Capitol in Hartford to tell your legislators that we need to protect our Energy Efficiency Funds and Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) Funds from budget raids.
Where: CT State Capitol Building, Room 310
210 Capitol Ave, Hartford, CT 06106 (
Directions Here)
When: Thursday, June 1, 2017
Time: 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm
A new budget proposal was released with plans to cut $160 million annually from CT’s Energy Efficiency Funds. The proposed budget raid would result in a new tax on CT ratepayers, the loss of 34,000 jobs, and increased pollution in our environment. These funds are essential for investing in energy conservation programs that reduce costs to homeowners and combat climate change.
Home Performance Alliance of CT (HPACT) is sponsoring this event with food and drinks. The purpose is to connect people to their legislators and bring attention to the impacts these proposed raids will have on our environment and economy.

CT must aim towards a green energy future. Let’s tell our legislators that we can’t go backwards!
